Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter from Lucknow

Day 1 Lucknow- Nepalgunj- Kathmandu

The tour commences from Lucknow, the renowned and the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. On reaching the city you will have to cover a driving distance of almost 165 km to reach the next destination i.e. Nepalgunj. If you are the one who is reaching Kathmandu then you need to bear the flight expense to Nepalgunj on their own and upon your arrival at Nepalgunj, you will be escorted to the hotel selected by you at the time of booking.

Day 2 Drive to Simikot

Post a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you will have to cover the road distance to reach the airport from where you will be transferred to Simikot via a flight. By afternoon you will be at the destination where you can explore the gorgeous wonders adorning the city. The city orientation tour is then followed by a transfer to the resort where you will spend your entire day so that you can acclimatize yourself for the next day trip. The day is scheduled for acclimatization as the next exploring destination is located at a huge elevation of almost 10,000 feet above the sea level and is believed to be the place where you get to witness the mesmerizing views of the entire city.

Day 3Moving to Hilsa and Purang

Kickstart your day with a healthy and relishing breakfast served to you at the guesthouse in Simikot and then proceed towards the helipad to board the helicopter for Hilsa. It takes almost 20- 25 minutes to cover the distance between the two segments. Once you land at the Hilsa helipad proceed towards the check post of China which is at a distance of approx. half an hour and this bridge distance will be covered by walking. However, to carry your luggage there is an arrangement of Sherpas and after completing the formalities required to cross the check-post, you will take the jeeps that are already waiting for you to take you to Purang. There is no other schedule for the day and for the rest of the day, you will relax at the comfy hotel room. You can also look out for some of the shopping places to buy the necessary pieces of stuff.

Day 4Driving towards Mansarovar

Today you will have to start your day very early as you are going to cover the pilgrimage and it is strictly advised to the pilgrims not to avoid the morning meal as you are going to cover Rakshastal or also called as Ravana Tal. This water stream destination is one of those places where the demon Ravana performed a deep meditation to please Lord Shiva. Later on, you will be covering the road distance of almost half an hour to drive towards Mansarovar. On reaching the lake take a holy dip into the water and perform the Puja rituals and later on proceed towards Mt. Kailash which was located at a distance of almost 40 km from that holy lake. Next, you will be moving towards Ashtapad which is said to be the place the first Tirthankar, Adinath Rishabhdev attained Nirvana. This is the place which is nestled at an elevation of 16,000 feet from where you can get the sight of Mount Kailash and Trinetra.

If you wish you can spend some time in attaining meditation and meet with your inner self. This is the time that gives you a glimpse of returning from the journey. Manasarovar Parikrama is left so take the jeep ride to cover this Parikrama. Once you are done with this final religious activity of the trip retire yourself to the guesthouse for an overnight halt.

Day 5Departure towards Home

This is the time to pack your bags and to complete the check-out formalities from the guesthouse so that you leave for Hilsa. On the way to Hilsa from Purang, you will visit the Khojar Nath Buddhist Temple and then drive towards the helipad to board the helicopter taking you to Simikot. Enjoy the scrumptious Brunch served there and take the flight to Nepalgunj and then drive towards Lucknow. This is how your journey with us concludes.
