Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter from Nepalgunj

Day 1 Nepalgunj - Simikot

As stated above in the overview that the journey commences from Nepalgunj so once you set your foot on the land of Nepalgunj you will be accompanied by our tour representative for your further journey continuing towards Simikot. Our representative will escort you to the Nepalgunj airport from where you will board the flight to Simikot and after covering almost an hour-long aerial distance you will reach your destination of the day. The hotel rooms are already arranged neatly and are well-maintained so that you can enjoy dinner and an energizing overnight stay.

Day 2 Simikot – Hilsa - Taklakot

The schedule of your second-day trip starts a little early as the day is planned to cover Hilsa and then Taklakot. From Simikot helipad you will fly for Hilsa through a chartered helicopter. On reaching Hilsa helipad you will have to complete certain custom formalities as you are going to enter Tibet from here. After crossing this Nepal- Tibet border you will be reaching Sher and after exploring the beauties of this destination start driving towards Taklakot where you will stay overnight.

Day 3Taklakot

The day is only scheduled to acclimatize yourself to this new place and in this new climate. Relax well in the comfy hotel room for the entire day and make yourself enthusiastic about the next day's schedule. Later, in the evening you can stroll down the local markets of the place and satisfy your desire of shopping out souvenirs for your dear ones.

Day 3Taklakot

The day is only scheduled to acclimatize yourself to this new place and in this new climate. Relax well in the comfy hotel room for the entire day and make yourself enthusiastic about the next day's schedule. Later, in the evening you can stroll down the local markets of the place and satisfy your desire of shopping out souvenirs for your dear ones.

Day 4Taklakot - Mansarovar

Start this wonderful and exciting day by binging upon the healthy breakfast served at the accommodation. After completing the circumambulation of the gorgeous Mansarovar Lake by the vehicle you can take a dip into the sacred lake. By the time you complete these puja rituals it gets evening and so for your overnight halt, arrangements are done at the lodges or at the guesthouse established nearby this sacred lake.

Day 5Mansarovar - Darchen - Dirapuk

Kickstart your day with the spiritual activities by waking up early in the morning and after completing the puja rituals at the lake serve yourself with a light but healthy breakfast and then set towards Darchen. After your arrival at Darchen, you will proceed towards Tarboche from where you will be crossing the Yam Dwar (gateway to heaven). From this place you need to cover the challenging trek of 12 km to reach Dirapuk and by the time you complete this long and physical taxing trek you must be tired so move straight to the hotel for an overnight halt.

Day 6Dirapuk- Gauri Kund- Zuthulphuk

The second consecutive day of the trek is going to be started with a relishing breakfast and breakfast is must today so that you stay energized and fit for the trek. Yesterday trek was shorter but more challenging than today (this is 22 km long trek) and this is going to be little arduous too. You will be reaching the highest point of the country Dolma La Pass from where you can look over the panoramic landscapes of the entire country. Once you are done with collecting beautiful moments and memories of this place start descending down to Gauri Kund and then from here walk for a certain distance and reach Zuthulphuk, the final destination of the day.

Day 7Zuthulphuk- Darchen- Taklakot

What else is better to start your day than a relishing and healthy breakfast? After taking this morning meal lace up your shoes to walk back towards Darchen which is then followed by your drive towards Taklakot. Once you have covered the distance between these two segments and reach Taklakot you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel where you can enjoy mouth-watering dinner and then go to bed.

Day 8Taklakot- Hilsa- Simikot- Nepalgunj

This is the last day of your drip and you will be dropped at the same point from where you had started your journey i.e. Nepalgunj. The day trip starts with your drive towards Nepal and then on reaching the border you will have to complete the required formalities of immigration. After entering Hilsa you will be escorted to the helipad from where you can board the helicopter to Simikot and then set yourself for the last aerial journey of the trip to reach Nepalgunj. After dropping you here at the airport, our representative will take your leave and we wish you a wonderful and safe journey ahead towards your home.
