Kedarnath Yatra from Haridwar

Day 1Arrival in Haridwar and then drive towards Guptkashi

Welcome to Haridwar, the gateway to heaven! On reaching Haridwar Railway Station our representative will greet you and pick you from there and then take you for the drive towards Guptkashi. Upon your arrival in this destination city, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel where you can relax for some time and then for the rest of the day you are free to spend your time in leisure. If you wish then roam around the nearby areas in Guptkashi to get some spiritual vibes but if you want to relax and save your time and energy then for the next day then stay relaxed in the comfy hotel room and post-dinner go to sleep.

Day 2 Guptkashi – Sonprayag - Kedarnath

Start the second day of your journey with a relishing meal, check-out from the hotel in Guptkashi and start driving towards Sonprayag from where 20 km long trek to Kedarnath commences and if you don’t find yourself in covering this huge trekking trail then spend some extra bucks and go for pony or palanquin rides. This route is going to mesmerize you with the scenic vistas falling en-route and if you are lucky then you can witness mists and clear skies may add more fun to your trip and while proceeding towards the temple you get to witness the gorgeously flowing Mandakini River. On reaching the height, accommodate yourself in the tents and government lodges for overnight stay.

Day 3Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Rudraprayag Srinagar

Get up very early in the morning and leave your accommodation by 4:30 so that you can attend the special puja for seeking the blessings from Lord Kedar. Post completing the puja rituals at the temple, enter into the Garbha Griha and touch the feet of the deity to get the blessings. After you are done with Puja and temple visit, walk back to the camps and the government house where you stayed last night. As you had started your day very early today so you can take rest for a few hours and then trek back to Sonprayag. On reaching the parking area of Sonprayag, you will be received by our received who will take you towards Rudraprayag or Srinagar for the night stay.

Day 4Rudraprayag/ Srinagar – Rishikesh - Haridwar

Post you binge on the healthy breakfast at the hotel, complete the check-out formalities and then drive towards Rishikesh, the city of sages located on the banks of River Ganga. Also called Yoga Capital, Rishikesh is dotted with several temples and is also popular for two iron suspension bridges i.e. Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Post discovering these astonishing places drive straight towards Haridwar Railway Station.
